1. General Information
This website is operated by Echelon Graphic Novels, a Black-owned independent publishing and creative studio based in Hollywood, California.
We use Squarespace to host our site and facilitate sales. By using this site, you agree to Squarespace's terms in addition to ours.
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted here, and your continued use of the site after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Eligibility
To use our site or purchase products, you must be:
At least 18 years old, or using the site with permission and supervision of a parent or guardian.
Legally capable of entering binding contracts under applicable law.
If you represent a business, you confirm that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
By using this site, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements. If we discover that you have provided false information regarding your age or authority, we reserve the right to terminate your access and cancel any orders.
3. Products and Services
a. Products
Echelon Graphic Novels offers physical books, digital comics, and creative merchandise. We strive to display accurate product details, but colors, images, and formats may vary slightly due to screen or printing differences.
All product descriptions and prices are subject to change at any time without notice. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time.
b. Digital Content
Digital downloads (e.g., PDF comics or e-books) are non-refundable once delivered.
By purchasing, you agree to use digital content for personal, non-commercial use only. Redistribution, uploading, or resale of digital content is prohibited.
c. Creative Services & Pre-Orders
Creative Services:
For collaboration, design, illustration, or development projects, additional written agreements will apply. Those contracts supersede these general Terms for the duration of the project.
Creative service projects may require:
A deposit (typically 50%) before work begins
Milestone payments for larger projects
A defined scope of work, timeline, and revision policy
Final payment before delivery of completed work
All terms will be outlined in a project-specific agreement.
Pre-Orders:
Pre-order items are products available for purchase before their official release date. By placing a pre-order:
Your payment will be processed at the time of order
The estimated ship date will be provided on the product page
You will be notified if there are any delays or changes to the release schedule
Pre-orders are eligible for cancellation and full refund up until the product ships
All standard return policies apply once the item is delivered
4. Orders and Payments
All payments are processed securely through Squarespace Payments, Stripe, or PayPal.
When placing an order, you agree to:
Provide accurate billing and shipping information.
Ensure payment authorization for your purchase.
Accept full responsibility for all charges associated with your order, including applicable sales taxes.
Order Confirmation: You will receive an email confirmation once your order is placed. This confirmation does not constitute our acceptance of your order—acceptance occurs when we ship your product or deliver your digital content.
Pricing Errors: While we strive for accuracy, pricing or product description errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of a product you have ordered, we will notify you as soon as possible and give you the option to either:
Reconfirm your order at the correct price, or
Cancel your order for a full refund
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders for suspected fraud, errors in pricing, product availability issues, or violations of these Terms.
5. Shipping, Delivery & Returns
Processing: Most orders ship within 5–10 business days unless otherwise noted on the product page. Custom or made-to-order items may require additional time, which will be communicated at the time of purchase.
Shipping: Rates and delivery times vary based on location and carrier. Shipping costs will be calculated at checkout. We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs clearance, or events beyond our control.
International Orders: International customers are responsible for any customs fees, duties, or taxes imposed by their country. We are not responsible for customs delays or additional charges.
Damages or Lost Packages: If your order arrives damaged or does not arrive, email echelongnovels@gmail.com within 7 days of the expected delivery date with your order number and photos (if applicable). We will work with you to resolve the issue through replacement or refund.
Returns & Refunds:
We accept returns of unused, unopened physical products within 14 days of delivery.
To initiate a return, email echelongnovels@gmail.com with your order number and reason for return.
Once approved, you will receive return shipping instructions. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was defective or damaged.
Refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 7–10 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item.
Digital products are non-refundable once the file has been delivered.
Custom, personalized, or made-to-order items are final sale and not eligible for return unless defective.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on this site—including artwork, comics, text, images, designs, and logos—is the intellectual property of Echelon Graphic Novels or its creators and contributors.
Content may not be reproduced, distributed, modified, or republished without express written consent.
Collaborating creators retain the rights outlined in their respective contracts or contributor agreements.
7. User Conduct
You agree not to:
Use the site for unlawful or fraudulent purposes.
Upload or transmit malicious code, spam, or harmful content.
Copy, sell, or exploit any part of the site or its content without permission.
Harass, threaten, or violate the rights of others using this platform.
Violations may result in termination of access and, if applicable, legal action.

Alternative Dispute Resolution: Before filing any lawsuit, both parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes through good faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, either party may pursue resolution through the courts specified above.
14. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to our website or services at any time for any breach of these Terms or for any activity that may harm our users, brand integrity, or business operations.
Notice of Termination: Where reasonably possible, we will provide notice of termination via the email address associated with your account. However, we reserve the right to terminate access immediately without notice for serious violations, including fraud, illegal activity, or threats to security.
Effect of Termination: Upon termination:
Your right to access and use the site immediately ceases
Any outstanding orders placed before termination may be fulfilled or canceled at our discretion
Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, liability limitations, and dispute resolution) will remain in effect

Echelon Graphic Novels shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations under these Terms due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
Acts of God (earthquakes, floods, fires, natural disasters)
War, terrorism, civil unrest, or government actions
Pandemics or public health emergencies
Labor disputes or strikes
Failure of third-party services, suppliers, or shipping carriers
Power outages, internet failures, or cyber attacks
In such events, we will make reasonable efforts to notify affected customers and fulfill orders as soon as reasonably possible. If we are unable to fulfill an order due to force majeure lasting more than 30 days, you may request a full refund.

All content on this site—including artwork, comics, text, images, designs, and logos—is the intellectual property of Echelon Graphic Novels or its creators and contributors.
